Welcome!

We interview academic physicians with one goal in mind: How can medical students not only be ready for their first day in your clinic or on your service, but how can we stand out and make a lasting impression? Hear expert tips for what to study the night before a new rotation, what you can do to actually help out your attending, and lots of examples of how students have left these physicians impressed in the past.

Our goal is to interview one physician in every specialty you might encounter during your clinical years of medical school. We start with the core clinical rotations that most students spend time on during their M3 year, and we will come back to other specialties like derm, ortho, anesthesia, etc. afterwards.

If you are like us, and get stressed about having to start in a new clinic/ward every week, join us on this journey and make Rotation Ready part of your routine!

Rotations are hard! We can help.

It usually takes students several days on a new service to figure out how to help the team out, what questions to ask, what to carry around with them, and how to impress the people that will be evaluating them. By the time we figure it out... it's on to the next rotation!

Listen to the episode of Rotation Ready that corresponds to your next rotation before you start it to get all of that information so you can impress your preceptors from day 1!
